Holy geez! What a year for our band of dirtbags! So many good times. Although it’s technically the ‘Season of Giving’ rather than ‘giving thanks’, we wanted to write a note to express our gratitude for everything that transpired these past 12 months. We serve at your pleasure and eagerly look forward to next year’s adventures.
We’d like to thank all the great bands we’ve had the pleasure of playing with this past year: Death From Above 1979, Danko Jones, Fucked Up, Kyuss (a pre-thank you), C’Mon, The Sword, Red Fang, Drunk Horse, Howlin’ Rain, Barn Burner, Bison BC, Flash Lightnin’, Burning Love, Choir! Back in the summer we pressed our 10″ EP and we’re still right stoked with it. Thanks to everyone who bought it at the shows, grabbed it off bandcamp or managed to pirate it. Right now we’re in the thick of getting new material together for our full length. A few of these tunes have made it into the set on occasion, but we’ve got some really awesome ideas for a thoroughly super sonic listen that are just beginning to take shape. We actually have some label stuff to announce too — but we can’t say anything just yet. But rest assured we will be extending our reach in the new year with more shows and releases!
So — to everyone who had us at their club, put us on your festival, threw us on your bill last minute, played a show with us, came down front, bought a record, stole a shirt, carved on us on your blog, made fun of our clothes, played us on your radio show, bought us shots or let us crash at your place – THANK YOU.
